SEP 30. Nike Air Force 1 Low – Black – Grey – Volt

Late last year and into early 2013, Nike Sportswear issued a ‘Godzilla Pack’ of AF1 Lows featuring a crackle print you might define as a more angular take on the iconic Elephant. It’s back again on this new Nike Air Force 1 Low that seems to have no direct connection with those or the famed Japanese monster, and in fact if you were going to draw any comparisons, it would be with the Sprite-ish accent pops on this otherwise black/grey/white palette. So they’ve got a few familiar features on the model with the most prolific variety of all time, and with pairs dropping in Japan this November, they should also be available at US NSW stores shortly.

SEP 30. Reebok SH 311

Reebok has returned to prominence in the sneakerhead scene largely on the strength of resurrecting beloved classic models from the 1980s and ’90s.  Here we have proof that they’re still very much in the business of making new designs as well as fresh takes on the old stuff, as this new Reebok SH 311 debuts its timeless design.  This SH 311 in dark brown leather keeps its branding very subtle, to the point where those not intimately familiar with the Vector will not immediately recognize these luxurious hightops to be RBKs.  You’ll see the low-key ‘SH 311′ embossing up close in more photos below, and if you like what you see, you can pick these up from select retailers like Titolo.

SEP 30. adidas Originals Spezial – Black – Green – Gum

How many handball sneakers are in your rotation at the moment?  Oh, you didn’t even know there was such a thing as a handball sneaker?  Then you’re missing out, because the adidas Originals Spezial has been a Three Stripes favorite for some time.  These old school t-toed lowtops have a curious background but they cross over to casual wear just like the Sambas and Gazelles of the world, and this new black/green colorup riding a gum sole is the kind of thing that once you start wearing it, you can count on to retain its vintage appeal forever.  The latest suede Handball Spezial is pictured in more photos below and then you can pick up a pair from shops like Oneness.

SEP 29. Nike Air Max 95 Textile – 2014 Preview

The Nike Air Max 95 has seen a plethora of remixes over it’s near two decade run as a legendary runner with editions like the Tape and No-Sew mixing things up, but today we get a glimpse of the classic sneaker without its signature side panel waves with the introduction of the Nike Air Max Textile. Streamlining the sneaker with one solid textile upper, this Air Max 95  uses bold black lines atop a vibrant color while a leather toe contrasts. A release date hasn’t been announced just yet, but stick with us after the click to check out each colorway and let us know what you think in the comments.

SEP 29. New Balance “American Renegade Pack”

A good portion of New Balance’s domestically made silhouettes in the second half of 2013 have come from the “American Renegade” group, a series that channels the spirit of American bad boys of generations past. Pictured are a couple of the late bloomers for the pack, pairs that are still trickling into retailers. The remainder consists of the New Balance 1300New Balance 996, and New Balance 998, each of them equipped with a healthy amount of suede and mesh. Continue reading for a glimpse at each and wait for these New Balance styles at your local sneaker spots soon.

SEP 29. Jordan Court Vision – Black – Blue – Yellow

Sneaker News first previewed the new Jordan Court Vision about two months ago, and now we’re seeing the first releases scheduled to hit retail this month. These first showed up with the label Court Vision ’99, and while they don’t have too much of a connection to the Air Jordan XIV that originally released in 1998-99, they do hearken back to the past with a Laney-ish mix of royal and yellow accents. This combo with the black upper also ties into the mysterious ‘Shanghai’ Jordan 5 that will apparently never release here in the US, so stick with Sneaker News for updates on the Court Vision after you’ve seen more below.

Nike Air Max 90 SneakerBoot Collection

What better way to prepare for the winter than with Nike’s SneakerBoot series? The Nike Air Max 90 was among the models selected to get the slightly bulkier build. But for what it’s worth the shoes end up looking far from clunky-there’s weight shaved off by the Hyperfuse construction that we’d imagine more than makes up for the extra ounces piled on by the extended ankle area collar. Remember that the shoes have already started to pop up as available, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Nike Air Max 90 SneakerBoot at your local NSW account. As usual-get with us below for a glimpse at the whole range.

Nike Air Foamposite One “Thermal Map” – Release Reminder

The Nike Air Foamposite One “Thermal Map” will release tomorrow, September 28th. The sneaker chips in on the trend of graphically flavored Foamposites, one which has been reasonably successful ever since it all began on last year’s “Galaxy” release. Remember that this design is officially slotted into the “Weatherman Pack” despite its graphics ending up pretty far off from the Nike KD IV that original introduced us to the theme. See the Nike Air Foamposite One “Thermal Map” in full detail below and watch for them at stores like DTLR - or check what’s available now on ebay.

Nike Air Force 1 Low – Brave Blue – Mineral Teal – Green Glow

Nike Sportswear has used the Lunar Force 1 for a variety of very colorful expressions in 2013, which leaves its forebear free to explore some more traditional looks after the XXX anniversary blowout last year. That means this new Nike Air Force 1 Low is among the more dynamic colorways for this particular shoe all year, an iridescent mix of purple, blue and green whose brilliance is amplified significantly by the excellent choice in orange shades appearing on the tongue tag, heel and outsole. This is one of those colorups that resembles the exuberance we remember from the early 1990s but takes it to a whole new level, and with pairs releasing in Japan in November, they can’t be too far off from a US release as well.
